The album 'Michael Bolton' was  released in 1983 on Columbia Records.

'It was the first album that Michael used the name Bolton, instead of Bolotin, on. Bruce Kulick, later of KISS, and earlier with Michael in Blackjack, played guitar. Singles released off of it include  Fool's Game, She Did The Same Thing, and I Almost Believed You. Fool's Game was Michael's first video. Every one of the songs on this album, except for the classic - Back In My Arms Again, was either written by , or co-written by Michael Bolton.'
